Seven of Atalanta’s first 11 games finished with both sides scoring
Napoli have conceded four times across their first five home matches in Serie A
La Dea have scored in four of their five away league games
Baptism of fire for Palladino
Raffaele Palladino’s reign at Atalanta begins with a visit to champions Napoli, as he looks to end a seven-game winless run for la Dea.
Ivan Juric was sacked after a 3-0 home defeat to Sassuolo, his third dismissal in the space of a year. While Juric didn’t lose any of his first nine matches in charge, there were issues from the start, as he was failing to get the most out of Atalanta’s attacking talent.
Palladino’s Fiorentina side scored 60 times last term, although they did lose home and away to Antonio Conte’s Napoli.
Conte’s side are more vulnerable this term as they juggle more games. Napoli are fourth in Serie A, having conceded in three of their five home league matches.
Both teams scored in seven of Atalanta’s first 11 games. Palladino should improve them going forward, but they will struggle to contain a Napoli side have impressed going forward.
