Barcelona Set to Run Riot Against Sluggish Alaves
Over 2.5 goals looks the bet when Barcelona host Alaves at Estadi Olimpic in Primera Liga on Saturday. No team has scored in more of their league games than Barcelona this season, having found the net in all 13 of their matches.
Barcelona are second in the league, 12 places and 16 points above Alaves. They have won ten of their 13 games this season, while the visitors have won four.
Barcelona have won eight of their last ten Primera Liga matches and have been in excellent form at home, winning 15 of their last 17 games. In contrast, Alaves have lost four of their last six away games and are struggling overall, having lost three of their last four matches.
Barcelona dominated possession and kept up their run of games with over 2.5 goals in a 4-0 win against Athletic Bilbao last weekend. They have won eight of the nine games in which they’ve scored first this season, making it ten wins in the 12 matches in which they have been odds-on this season.
