Keiran McKenna’s side have taken longer than many thought to exert their quality on the division, but the Tractor Boys are now pulling their weight. Town have trounced QPR, Swansea and Hull in consecutive road trips and should have too much firepower and defensive nous for the U’s.
Gary Rowett’s side are languishing down in 21st place, dangerously close to the drop zone, and their recent performances indicate a nervousness. They should have been beaten out of sight by fellow strugglers Norwich last time out, but the Canaries missed a hatful of chances and paid the price when Filip Krastev popped up with a 95th-minute leveller.
