The Gunners look particularly strong defensively and the leaders are a cohesive unit who were unfortunate to suffer their only defeat of the season at Liverpool and their recent history in this fixture has to be respected.
Spurs have not enjoyed much success against the Gunners in recent seasons, but we can expect them to be positive not only because of the emotions of the occasion but also due to them enjoying better fortunes on the road than they have on their own patch.
Tottenham are difficult to trust
Frank’s team have dropped just two points on their travels, putting in commanding performances to win at West Ham and Everton, while their 2-0 success at Manchester City in Frank’s first away game made the whole league sit up and listen.
But their inability to convince in their new stadium means they are plagued with inconsistency and it is difficult to anticipate which Tottenham we will see on Sunday.
That would make them a difficult betting proposition even if they were not playing the team who were at the top of the league.
The emotional circumstances dictate that they should be positive and this tends to be a fixture that serves up decent entertainment, but the Gunners undoubtedly possess the edge so it makes sense to back the home side to win a game that contains at least three goals, with correct-score punting enthusiasts pointed towards a 2-1 Arsenal win.
Eze can make his mark
There will be a lot of attention focused on Eberechi Eze after the former Crystal Palace forward snubbed a move to Tottenham before signing for the Gunners in the August transfer window.
A goal against his former club is the only one he has mustered since joining the Gunners, but he was on target for England when he came on as a substitute in last week’s World Cup qualifier against Serbia and he had four goal attempts in the 2-2 draw against Sunderland, so it would not be a shock if he found the net and had a big say on proceedings.
