Another solid win for the Giallorossi
There have been under 2.5 goals in eight of Parma’s last ten Serie A games and that trend looks set to continue when they visit Roma on Wednesday.
Roma are second in Serie A, 13 places and 11 points above Parma, with six wins from their eight games this season, while the visitors have one win, four draws and three losses.
Roma have been winners in eight of their last ten Serie A games and have enjoyed two straight victories against Parma. In contrast, Parma have won just one of their last eight matches, with their last win coming against Torino last month.
Roma’s 1-0 win away to Sassuolo on Sunday kept up their recent trend for matches with under 2.5 goals. Paulo Dybala notched the only goal of the game in the 16th minute, and
Roma had the chances to beat Sassuolo by more than the one-goal margin. The win makes it three wins in the four matches in which Roma have been odds-on this season.
Parma’s last three Serie A matches and eight of Roma’s last nine stayed under 2.5 goals, and no team has finished more games with fewer than three goals in the league than Parma this season (seven).
With Roma and their visitors failing to find the net in seven of the last nine Serie A meetings between these sides, a 2-0 home win looks a decent correct-score option.
