Barnet to build on good form
Dean Brennan’s Barnet side can be backed to win at home to Notts County on Saturday, having enjoyed two straight League Two successes at The Hive.
They are sixth places above Notts County in the table, with just three points separating the two teams. Both have won more games than they have lost this season, with Barnet having won six and Notts County five of their 11 games.
Barnet maintained their winning habit last weekend, beating Tranmere 2-0 to secure the win/win double result. Barnet have opened the scoring in their last nine games and have won six of the nine games in which they’ve scored first this season (67%).
The hosts will be looking to get forward and score goals. Barnet have scored in ten games in a row, including a 3-0 win over Grimsby last month, and have netted at least twice in four of their last five League Two matches.
There’s been a lot to like about Barnet’s defence this season, with the hosts keeping out their opponents in three of their last four League Two games.
The away side are enduring a rough spell on the road, with Notts County having lost three of their last four League Two away games, including their last two.
Notts County’s defence has been leaky, with the visitors conceding on each of their last eight League Two road trips. Notts County have failed to keep a clean sheet in 15 of their last 17 league games.
