Posh to struggle again
The best bet is a Burton win when they host Peterborough on Saturday. The home side are in better form than their visitors, and they should be backed to come out on top at the Pirelli Stadium.
Both teams are at the wrong end of the table, with Burton four places and five points above rock-bottom Peterborough. The hosts are in 20th having won three, drawn three and lost five, while Peterborough have two wins and eight defeats from their 11 games.
In the 29 games between teams in the bottom half of the table, 14 (48%) have been home wins, for a profit of 4.85 points to a one-point level stake.
The visitors have looked vulnerable at the back. Peterborough have failed to keep a clean sheet in 19 of their last 20 League One games and have conceded 12 goals away from home this season – an average of two per game from six matches.
The visitors are out of form. Peterborough have lost four of their last six League One matches, and have sustained two successive reverses. They have lost seven of their last eight away games in the league.
Burton may be able to edge out Peterborough in a closely-fought game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Both teams have found the net in seven of the last nine League One games between these sides, and Peterborough lost 2-1 to Bolton in their last league game.
