Anfield shouldn’t daunt impressive visitors
Liverpool’s search for their first point of the WSL season moves to Anfield this weekend, as they host a Manchester City side that is in stellar scoring form.
The hosts have lost each of their first four games of the season, including a 4-1 home loss to Everton in their opener. Liverpool are struggling in the final third, but they could find themselves overrun at the back given City’s impressive start.
City have scored 11 times across their last five matches in all competitions, netting at least three goals in each of those matches. Their last away game brought a 5-1 win at Tottenham, while they were 4-0 winners against Liverpool when these two sides last met, back in February.
