Kramaric to fire Croatia to victory
Croatia extended their perfect start to World Cup qualifying with a 4-0 win over Montenegro last month, and they can make it six wins from six against Czechia on Thursday.
The Kockasti beat Czechia 5-1 on home soil back in June and have scored 17 goals in four qualifying ties so far, with Tomas Soucek’s strike in Osijek in June being the only goal they have conceded in this period.
Czechia drew with Saudi Arabia last time out and have never beaten Croatia, so Thursday’s visitors look good value for the win.
A repeat of the 5-1 scoreline from June appears unlikely, though, but Croatia have looked defensively solid on the road, and a 2-0 win could be on the cards.
Andrej Kramaric has had a difficult start to the club campaign with Hoffenheim, but he has scored six goals in four World Cup qualifiers and bagged two in the reverse fixture in June, so back him to find the net.
