Brest can build on key win
Brest had a decisive win in their last Ligue 1 game and they are worth backing to get another victory away at Angers on Sunday.
They were comfortable 4-1 winners over Nice last weekend, despite the pre-game betting suggesting it would be a close match.
Angers are two places above Brest in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. Angers, in 13th, have won once and lost twice of their five games, while Brest, in 15th, have one win and three defeats.
The hosts’ recent form has been disappointing, with Angers failing to win in four of their last six Ligue 1 games.
The visitors have shown some attacking threat this season, with Brest scoring three goals or more in two of their five Ligue 1 games.
The hosts have looked vulnerable in defence, with Angers failing to keep a clean sheet in eight of their last ten Ligue 1 games. They have been unable to keep their opponents at bay in four straight matches.
A 1-0 away win for Brest looks like a decent correct-score bet. At least one of the sides blanked in five of the last seven Ligue 1 clashes between these two and Angers lost 1-0 to Lyon in their last league game.
