VfB can raid Freiburg
Stuttgart are the best bet to win at Freiburg on Saturday. The hosts have lost their last two home games and have won just once in the last seven at Europa-Park Stadion.
Freiburg finished fifth in the league last season, five points ahead of ninth-placed Stuttgart. They won 16 games, drew seven and lost 11 times, while the visitors achieved 50 points from 14 wins, eight draws and 12 losses.
Stuttgart left it late to claim a 1-0 win over Monchengladbach two weeks ago, justifying their price of 6/10 to win the game.
Stuttgart come into this game in excellent form, having won four of their last five Bundesliga matches. In contrast, Freiburg are struggling right now, without a victory in three games and losing four of their last six at home.
The hosts have looked vulnerable in defence, with Freiburg failing to keep a clean sheet in ten of their last 11 Bundesliga games. They have been unable to keep their opponents at bay in five straight league matches.
A 2-1 away win for Stuttgart looks like a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have scored in ten of Freiburg’s last 11 Bundesliga matches and Stuttgart have won twice of their last three games by the odd goal.
