Go for goals in Paris
Paris Saint-Germain are one of Europe’s form teams and they should be able to brush aside this woeful Angers outfit on Saturday.
Angers have lost their four games without scoring and may well find themselves dragged into the drop zone as Le Havre, Reims and St Etienne have all shown a bit of fight of late.
PSG are the massive favourites to win so the best angle looks to be the goals markets, and over 3.5 goals appeals. A home win and over 3.5 goals is also an option but there isn’t enough difference in the price to complicate matters further, so we’ll stick with a straightforward over 3.5 goals bet.
The majority, if not all, of the goals will come from PSG and they hit four in a 4-2 win at Angers earlier in the season. The runaway leaders have scored 79 goals in 27 Ligue 1 games this season – an average of 2.9 per-game – and have scored at least four goals in five of their last six domestic fixtures, while Angers have shipped 14 goals across their last five Ligue 1 games against lesser opposition.
