AC Milan look hard to stop right now and could earn their sixth victory in a row when they travel to Florence to face Fiorentina on Saturday night.
Stefano Pioli’s side have hit form at the optimal time as they seek to win the Europa League and push rivals Inter as far as they can in the Scudetto race. Christian Pulisic has been on fire as the Rossoneri have won their last three away games and they could prove too hot for Fiorentina to handle here.
La Viola are not in bad shape either and could easily push towards a top-six finish in the next month. They are only four points behind Atalamta in sixth and also have two chances at silverware in the Coppa Italia and Conference League.
Milan’s momentum should see them home
Vincenzo Italiano’s side are unbeaten in six, but four of those were draws. Fiorentina are a dangerous side when behind, but have struggled to hold onto leads, so quite a few of their recent games have seen both teams score.
Both teams have scored in five of their last six contests and six of AC Milan’s last eight in all competitions. Both sides share similar traits in that attack is often their best form of defence, but Milan have had more success at seeing the results out once they get their noses in front.
Backing the visitors to win with both teams getting on the scoresheet seems like it could be a profitable option, although taking BTTS and over 2.5 could be a safer play. Milan’s momentum is such that, right now, they are the team to side with in games like this should turn out to be.
