Elche and Celta Vigo will open Matchday No 16 in Spanish La Liga on Friday afternoon at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.
The match will have a massive importance for both outfits, especially the hosts who are still searching for their maiden win of the season.
Elche are the only team in the Spanish elite class without a single victory after 15 rounds. They have only four points this term and sit firmly at the very bottom of the league table.
Celta Vigo, on the other side, sit only one point above the red zone line and they desperately need to start getting three-pointers to avoid the relegation scrap in the second half of the season.
Celta go into this without a win in eight subsequent league games. They have a dreadful record on travels with one win, one draw, and five defeats in seven matches.
Celta have failed to score more than four goals in seven road outings so far in the season. They will go into this off the back of a 1-1 draw to fellow strugglers Sevilla in the last game of 2022.
