Nothing has gone right for Southampton this season, and their counterparts Nottingham have no different story either. But at least the latter could make the claim of being comparatively inexperienced in the top flight recently.
Both teams are placed in the relegation zone at the moment. It is not yet time to be worried about getting the boot – a half season is still to be played.
But the ultra-competitive nature of the Premier League suggests that these teams start are not in line to have a pretty peaceful ending to their campaigns.
