Argentina has Di Maria doubtful because of a musculary problem
On their side Australia is full line up.
After a fail in their first game of this WC with a loss over Saudi finally Argentina bounced back and won the last two games. Against Poland they played really good and won 2-0 with a big domination. It was also due to the fact that Poland was awful. At least players are now without pressure and with confidence.
Australia on their side faced France in their opening game and was destroyed 4-1. Against Tunisia they surprised me and they won 1-0. Against Denmark, Denmark was really bad and Austrlia scored a very nice goal thanks to Leckie on a great counter.
The gap between both teams is very important. Australia should never qualify for the 1/8 finals, their football is still not at a good level despite of good invesment done in the domestic league.
They don't have strong individualities as they could get years ago. Defensively it's linked to the style of their domestic league so it's really not a solid defense they have, if Argentina plays at their level they will destroy them.
Argentina had Julian Alvarez & Enzo Fernandez starter for the previous game, I really hope it will continue because it's a must to get him in the 11, especially Enzo.
I expect a strong one side game by Argentina, I don't see Australia able to resist.
