Gent slipped up last week in Dublin, playing only a 1-1 stalemate away at the rock-bottomed Shamrock Rovers.
The Belgian outfit thus failed to take advantage of Molde’s surprising home defeat to Djurgaarden in the other game in Group F.
Gent now enter the final day with a two-point deficit to second-placed Molde. The direct clash between these two rivals will thus determine the second team to qualify for the knockout stage of the Conference League from this group.
The team led by Hein Vanhaezebrouck are not quite enjoying their best form these days. They have only won three of the previous ten games in all competitions.
Gent will enter this tie off the back of two separate 1-1 stalemates to the likes of Shamrock Rovers and OH Leuven.
