Leeds started their season kinda decent and with good results but lately things are getting outta hand and are now sitting in 18th place, their defensive issues have been a big problem and that's the main reason why they lost 4 of their last 5 games. However, at home they have been competitive with only 1 loss in their 5 home games, 2 wins and 2 draws and 6:5, it's kinda crazt to see the difference in goals they suffer on the road in compare at home but it's more an issue for opponents not taking care of their chances because their defensive problems even at home are very obvious and really don't change. One of the reasons of their defensive issues is also how they play, their Coach puts them playing very attacking football and they are not a bad attacking team, but because of that style sometimes they can surprise team but most of the times they just get exposed on defense and especially against team who can take advantage of that playing style they have big problems and Aston Villa is that type of team in my opinion.
Aston Villa journey this season has been the opposite of Leeds, they started really badly but lately they are rolling after winning 4 of their last 5 games and are now sitting in 9th place. Aston Villa took a while to perform at their best level once again but now they have been really playing at the level we were expecting from them, their attack is finally producing and their defensive line is rock solid. It's true that on the road Aston Villa has only won 1 of their 5 road games, 2 draws and 2 losses but if we look at their road schedule is was a really hard one, going to Brentford, Everton, Sunderland, Tottenham and Liverpool are not easy road trips, I think now things will get a little easier for them and that combined how they have been playing lately I like their chances here.
Both teams are pratically full healthy and are coming with their full potencial here but overall I like Aston Villa match-up here, the way that Leeds play kinda fits well with Aston Villa I think, they are a very solid defensive team who can put pressure and provoke mistakes to their opponents and if Leeds makes mistakes their defensive problems will have a hard time to deal with those attacking players from Aston Villa, or course, they way Leeds play without any fear can sometimes lead to surprise results and I wouldn't be surprised to see Leeds scoring here one goal but overall I think Aston Villa right now is just on the right track and I don't see them losing here, I like their chances to get points here and even to win the game.
