Baggies Backed to Edge Past Oxford at The Hawthorns
West Brom should be backed to beat Oxford at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. West Brom, who are six places above Oxford in the table, have won five and lost six of their 14 games, while the visitors have won three and lost seven.
West Brom have been impressive defensively at home this season, conceding just four goals in six Championship games – an average of 0.67 goals per game.
They have lost just one of their last seven home games in the Championship.
West Brom are going through a barren spell in front of goal. No Championship team has failed to find the net in more games this season than Oxford’s total of six.
The visitors have been finding it hard to keep out their opponents lately. Oxford are on a run of three Championship away days without recording a shutout and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 16 of their last 20 games.
