RKC Waalwijk will continue their daunting schedule on Sunday afternoon when they take on AZ Alkmaar in the last game of Matchday No 13 in Eredivisie.
RKC Waalwijk faced the likes of Ajax and Twente in the previous two rounds, suffering two defeats by three goals difference in the process.
If we add an embarrassing 2-0 loss to a half-professional side De Treffers in the first round of KNVB Beker (Dutch Cup), it is certainly an unpleasant run of results.
Moving forward, Joseph Oosting’s troops scored just one goal in the previous four outings in all competitions and they have failed to register even a single shot on target in the 3-0 loss at Twente seven days ago.
